Short Term Rental (STR):
is a furnished living space available for short periods of time, from a few weeks to a few months, depending on your need. But most importantly, not a full year. Short-term rentals are also commonly known as vacation rentals and are considered an alternative to a hotel.
Since Maryland is the home of so many great medical facilities, The Nina is often rented by traveling nurses and patients coming in for treatments and proceedures. These specific STRs are much more affordable than a hotel.

The Nina:
A Boho inspired 3-bedroom apartment, is frequently rented by adventurous traveling nurses/professionals here on a working contract. I also host a lot of families that come to the area for as patients for treatments and proceedures.
This apartment is at the lower level of a large, detached home. There are 3 units in total. This apartment was renovated in 2021. There is a large kitchen with granite counters, SS appliances, ice maker, and a huge kitchen island. The kitchen, dining room, and living room have an open floor plan. The 3 bedrooms are to the back of the property, great for privacy and complex work schedules. All 3 bedrooms are a great size and have blackout curtains, a dresser, a nightstand, lamp, fan, closet, and bed linens. The bathroom is farmhouse style with white subway tiles and black fixtures. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, Wi-Fi, large TV (full of apps), and CAC. There is also great outdoor space with a partically fenced in lawn with plenty of space to park in the wide driveway. Property is on a large corner lot and is well maintained inside and out!
It is close to several Maryland hospitals but the closest to John Hopkins Bayview (1.6 miles). Johns Hopkins main campus is roughly 3.5 miles away. It’s also very convenient to BWI airport, 95, 695, and 895. If you get a day off, you will be a quick Uber to the Fells Point / Downtown area. There are great local restaurants and a lot of waterfront activities and bars!

- This unit is a short term rental, mostly rented by traveling nurses/other professionals and patients here for treatments and procedures needing temp housing.
- Hopkins Bayview Campus is 1.6 miles away.
- Hopkins Main Campus is 3.5 miles away.
- UMMC is 8.5 miles away (drive time is about 20-30 mins using the Fort McHenry Tunnel/Toll)
- THERE IS NO WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS
- Property was fully renovated in 2021.
- There are 7 exterior steps at the unit entrance.
- 1 full bath (shower has sprayer and there’s a tub chair guest may use)
- 3 bedrooms (2 full size beds, 1 queen bed)
- Bedding and bath linens are provided
- Driveway parking for 3 vehicels.
- Utilites and Wifi are provided.
- Professionally cleaned after every guest.
Pricing:
- Rent fluctuates but is typically $2400/month ($80/night)
- Pets are not encouraged because of patients with allergies/health issues but will be considered. If your pet is approved, there is a $100/weekly rent in addition.
- Cleaning fee is $200.00 when you leave, $275.00 with a pet.
- If you’d like the cleaning service monthly, it’s $200.00 each time. Most do once a month or halfway through their stay.
- All guests over 30 days will have a lease to sign and a security deposit (one month’s rent) is due in order to hold the apartment
- All guest over 30 days need rental insurance. I can put you in touch with my insurance agent. His policies are cheap and easy.
- First month’s rent & an insurance policy are due before getting access to the property.
- Stays over 30 days, rent is due on the 1st of the month.
